Title: G60 Brakes
Post by: DoubleDubber on 12 October 2010, 08:30
I'm looking at some G0 brakes atm, not sure what brand, but they have two cylinders. Was just wondering, will they fit a standard Mk3 GTi, and would they be considered an updgrade?

Not really, yours are the same size or bigger anyway.

Some people think two piston calipers are better than single. Not sure myself.

They should fit straight on if you have the 280mm brake set up.

If you go down this route be careful because some G60 calipers are single piston and exactly the same caliper as the mk3 280mm setup ones.

They're not for me, but for a mate. If they'll fit then he says he may have them

Are twin piston brakes better? Any opinions?

Not really much of a upgrade to be honest.
