I took about 10 minutes to decide how to word that question so I didn't sound like a retard... and I ended up sounding like one anyway!

The rears came in pieces, with a big silver cup thing with a hole in and a little copper cup thing with a hole in. It also had the springs and a little silver tube that just fits over the thread.

How does it all go together, and how do I adjust ride height?

Cheers!

It's a cup kit? Doesn't that man ride height isn't adjustable - just springs and shocks......

The rear shocks will probably have 4 or 5 grooves in them, if they do, then they are adjustable. Fronts wont be.

Doesn't look like it....

They're hottuning ones.

I think they're pretty awful, just wanted to the wagon sitting nice and low rather than the monster truck standard ride height.

You should have got coilovers then, that way you won't be disappointed if your wagon isn't at the height you wanted it.

The ebay listing said they were coilovers.

They're going back in the box and I'm going to sulk.

They will do the job plus to be honest are a better bet than "cheap" coilovers.

I wanted to go lower than 40mm lower though to be honest...

On an estate, that's like... going from a monster truck to a defender.

I might sell em on ebay to avoid the hassle and buy a set of AP coilies which go down 80mm.

40mm will be ok, fit som spring caps on the front for a extra 10mm.

What are spring caps?

Fit to the front in place of your old top spring cap.

No worries, nothing wrong with cycling 2400 miles this year so far.

I'm lucky if I get to do 30 miles a week!

I cycle from the park and ride to work and back every day... and then do a couple of hours on the romney marsh on the weekend if I'm free...

Massive DOH!

I know! It's a shame really... I'll fit them on the weekend and see how they look anyway.

They might look good with some spring caps and some shorter springs...

Can I get spring caps for the rears?

Rears probably won't need them. I used to run a cupkit and it sat nice with good ride quality. Alright now I'm dragging my arse everywhere, but hit a bump earlier and stuck both front wheels in the air
