ive found sum mk3 polybush top mounts brand new i bought them for my old vr and i no longer have it and i wonderd if they would fit on my mk 2 ????

mk3 vr6 top mounts will fit but you need some parts from the mk3, i cant remember which ones tho

they came off ebay there exactly the same as my old top mounts on my mk3 and there polurethane or whatever they use

ill try and find the company who make them for you and they also do a rear set aswell

Found them, floflex. I've got their wishbone bushes on, didn't know they had top mounts though :smiley:

yes mate they did

have a search, i did a post about top mounts and it lists what mk3 parts you need

if you have coilovers they will prob fit straight onto them, just need the MK3 GTI threaded bush. if std shocks then you need early mk3 gti upper spring plate as well
1H0 412 341 - MK3 GTI upper spring plate, small size
1H0 412 365 A - threaded bush
N 105 352 01- top nut

No, rear come in 4 bits, 2 for each side (upper and lower).

paul had problems with these on his mk3 track car, have a look in the trackday section
i had some jom mk2 style ones years ago and they were excellent, but the bearings only lasted 6 months, don't think they are really designed to work with the impact from poly, although the mk3 bearings might put up more resistance

nah you can see the bearings in them, they're MK3 GTI type front mounts

yeah they were bought for my mk3 vr6 and neve got round to fitting them thats why im asking if they will go on my mk2

polybush on a topmount i must say im skeptical, especially on how long it will last!
