Title: 2011 MK6 Golf Forum Calendar - CLOSING DATE 7TH NOV 2010
Post by: Shady Pioneer on 10 October 2010, 19:35: Hello all, I've decided based on a fluffed 'all forum' calendar, that I am going to do separate MK calendars instead, they sold very well last year which in turn pulls in more money for the forum charity. Not many people submitted for the all forum one so hopefully better results will be had from using the same plan as last year.

To begin with, the rules:

- Closing date is 7th November.
- The picture submitted must be of you car that you own or have owned.
- Retain the original file, if you submit a photo that is to be used in the final calendar, and you can not send me the original full resolution photo then you will be disqualified.
- Use a high resolution camera, at least 6MP or more. The higher resolution the better as it will avoid pixelation in the 'blowing up' process.
- Photo enhancements can be used to make the photo look better, however no changes such as lowering your car or changing wheels are permitted.
- A poll will be held after the closing date and the top 12 voted for photos will be used in the calendar.

NOTE if you have submitted already please don't enter again, unless you wish to change your photo choice.

The calendars will be A3 wall-size, the same as last year's for those who had one.

That's about it, I hope this is all clear to everyone. Get your pictures submitted as soon as possible.

The poll will last 5 days and then I will crack on with making the calendars for print. I would hope to get them all to those of you who purchase before Christmas.

Yeah I am quite chuffed with it. I don't ever take photos but I thought the calender opportunity deserved a special effort. Just really want the calender to get made.

BTW AMz cracking colour on the photos. Love the contrast between the white houses and the red car. Reminds me almost of a Bullit esque image with Steve McQueen. Really liking how it's quite understated but pretty potent. :smiley:

The only problem was that there was slightly too many combined to it would come down to a vote. However it looks like we may almost have enough for a purely mk6 year.
