Title: Thinkin of buyin a mk4 t gti

Looking at buying a mk4 golf t one of the ones I have been lookin At has a dump valve as apposed to a recirc valve fitted and as I am not sure how long it's been fitted not sure if he has had Ny problems with it going in to limp mode etc I test drove it boost gauge said it was holding boost fine only asking cos I don't want to buy a car that's gonna run into problems as soon as I buy it

Get rid of the dump valve and stick on a recirc one on. The 1.8T isn't designed to have dump valve on it.
