Title: I have a smelly VAG
Post by: jpgti on 08 October 2010, 20:21
There is nothing worse than a smelly vag.

Anyway i noticed the other day that i have water coming into the gti from somewhere, the floor is soaking wet. Has anyone else had this and have they sourced the location of the leak.Advice and opinions appreciated.

Sunroof drain holes blocked??

Or try removing the scuttle panel below the windscreen and clear the drain holes.

Or seals on the doors could be leaking??

Or it could be really bad and the heater matrix could be shagged !!!!!  As said though check the drainage holes under the scuttle panel and the sunroof (if you have one).  Best of luck      Cheers

Forgot about the heater matrix....

Check your Expansion Tank and see if its loosing water. IF not then your heater matrix will be fine.
