Title: Just fitted JOM Spring caps.....
Post by: Steve Mk3 GTI on 08 October 2010, 15:48
As the title says...
I have just had some JOM Spring caps fitted to my Mk3 GTI 8v. It already has Eibach -40mm springs front and back.

Only problem is i can't really see a differance  :undecided: if any at all.

Do they take time to 'bed in' or is that it. I was hoping they would get the front just that little bit lower so i didn't have to spend out on Coilovers!

Your only looking at 5mm so don't expect to see much!

Are they not 10mm lower, drive it around for a bit and see if it settles.

Tracking is also well out.... so that is going to be done in the morning!

What a waste of money  had it done in a garage too....2 hours labour costs. almost £10 a mm!!!
