My local Asda are selling them for £1
What's the feeling - good for pampering paintwork or better to avoid?
Cheers
CT.

I have two, I'm sure if you use the two bucket method you'd be ok..........
.... I hope !

I only use a noddle mitt for cleaning the interior glass and dash.
Do the CD test. Get an unscratched CD and wipe the mitt across it. If it marks the CD then it's no use for the paintwork.

At £1, I'd stay away. The quality isn't likely to be there. Stick to lambswool microfibre mitts.

these are fine guys and very good.
The cd test has no relevants regarding a wash mitt made of microfibre, you will get micro marring from any method of washing the car.
no matter what you use at the end of the day you are to a degree pushing micro particals of dirt around on your car, you can only minimise the damage you cause by using the 2bm not eliminate it completly.
ive been using the noodle mitts from asda for 6months or so now and havent caused any major damage with them at all.

after seeing this topic, i went to asda yesderday to buy one (and do the weekly shop of course) cant complain really at £1, it doesnt matter what the price is, if its good, its good, considering these are about £3 anyway?
next up, i need some cheap microfibre cloths??
-
have a look on www.i4detailing.co.uk and have a look at matts range of microfibres,
also the ones they sell in asda(kent microfibres 6 pack) they are fine to use for general cleaning and buffing, just wash them often with liquid tabs not powder and no conditioner and they'll be fine.

considering the noodle is made by kent car care, i popped back into asda today and bought 6 microfibre cleaning towels for £3 (also made by kent) job done!
