producing a load of slop in the o/s drive shaft, Collapsing a wheel bearing the the o/s, then to add insult to injury totally snaps the rear engine mount!!! All because i beefed up the 1.4 then dropped it 30mm rear 44mm front!!!! FML
-
Hub nut all tight?
How have you "beefed up" the 1.4? :lipsrsealed:
-
Jessica
-
Bolted in a V8 ???.

Jessica
What have done to beef it up then.
-
slapped a sunday roast on the rocker cover?
yeah i second the hub nut

hi guys, the hub nut came loose last month, so i tightened it, this time its still tight, and as for what i have done, not a lot reayy adv the timeing a tad, given it a pure cold air feed and got fairly large tyres ont it which have changed the end ratio a *bit*
one thing that has piqued my curiosity though, i lower it and suddenly @60mph im doing 2600rpm in 5th instead of 2850rpm... i can only think its wind resistance doing this?

is it april fools day again - :undecided:

HAHAHAHA chuff, i see what made you laugh,
ill clarify, the big wheels were on there before i lovered it and before the change in rpm ... lol
-
to be fair, unless you have a digital rev counter your arent going to be that exact when reading 2850 .
did you have it properly aligned after the drop ? if yes then that could explain it, as you are now running straight n true
as for wind resistance . . . . . . . . .

there is a digi rev guage, that lil hidden menue you can bring up where the milage is
-
hidden menu??
what and how???
-
the buttron to change the trip/total milage, with the ignition on hold it in for a few seconds, switch th ignition off but still holding the button, put th ignition back onand wait like 1 second then let go of th button, press it and it will cycle through some numbers, stop when ig gets to 7, it will then say 0 turn th engine on and hey presto digital rev guage, also the petrol guage becomes super sensitive, it litterally mooves to the petrol swishing around in the tank lmao
someone on here already found out about it and posted a while ago, since thne ive been trippin all my mates out with my digi rev guage
-
wicked, im gonna have a go at that.
does it keep all the mpg etc on the trip computer and can how do you put it back to normal after tho???
-
yeah i stumbled upon that ages ago whilst trying to reset the service thingy, which i failed to do BTW, any help on that would be appreciated. question is what are the other settings
