Title: A report on the condition of my Mk5's interior after 28,000 miles
Post by: Egbutt Wash on 05 October 2010, 13:36
Perfect.
The plastic dash does not use the thin soft touch laminate of the mk4 and suffers no peel back after dog paw attack.  A good improvement.

The exterior has not done so well.  Rusty wheel insides, stone chips, and a big dent on the tailgate (that I must get fixed).

All in all for a 2008 £17,999 car it's done OK.

My 56 plate 5dr with 66k miles now is in fantastic condition - almost as good as my 57 3dr was at 14k miles! :)

My 05 GTI has just hit 66k miles, interior is wearing really well only slight wear on the drivers seat bolster, but other than that looks like new.  Just need to sort out the stone chips on my bumper.
