Hi all.Looking to change my oil pressure switch on my 1995 Mk3 Gti 8v to cure an oil leak but not sure which is the correct one to buy.The only two options on gsf for petrol engines are black or green. Can anyone enlighten me.Thanx Lee

best thing I can suggest is drive down there and while your there take it out and compare, be sure to take some coth or something to put around the area though. When doing mine I got 3 different ones from ecp before I got the right one :P

the 2 sensors on your car are blue and white, black & green are both wrong. blue is 0.3bar, white is 1.8bar. the blue sensor may be brown, but normally on mk3s they're blue

yeah 0.3 bar is what u want, but going on colour doesnt always work I asked for the blue one when told there were a few different ones, and they were all blue!

Thanks for your help guys.Could someone also tell me where there located also as im not sure where they are.found wot i thought was one on the side of the cylinder head, but that one isnt leaking.

blue/brown 0.3bar one is on the side of the head, white 1.8 bar is on the oil filter housing. there is also a smaller white oil temp sensor for the mfa on the filter houisng. side of head sensor has a blue/black wire, filter houisng has a yellow wire and the oil temp sensor wire is green/black
