Title: Coolant- 1.6GL 1997

I need to change the thermostat on my car and wondered how much coolant I will need to refil the system
I am planning to buy 2 litres ready mixed from Halfords- will that be enough?
I think i need the red one!

I didnt realise how expensive it was!
any one have nay ideas where i could maybe buy it cheaper?

dont buy from halfords, go to your local motor spares place, get some comma red, and mix it yourself. 2 litres is not enough, my ABF holds around 6 litres. but saying that im not sure where the thermostats are on yours, if its at the top of the block then you wont have to drain all the coolant. so you might get away with less. anyway, halfords is a rip off the staff havent got a clue what they're selling you.
