Title: speedo cable.

ive just brought a set of 16v clocks off ebay. the clocks are in very good condition. i have fitted the clocks and the MFA and all the lights work fine as well as the rev counter, however my speedo is not working!!!!

is the speedo cable the same regardless of model?? i.e 8v or 16v

i assume the cable just clips straight in to the clocks. the old clock speedo worked fine. i dont think its the new clocks (i hope aint)!

if the old clocks worked and the new ones dont, is there a way i can take the speedo mech out of the old and fit it into the old??

There are different types of gear on the end that need to go into the gearbox.

However, use the search function and there is plenty covering this.  :smiley:
