Title: Hello, Mk1 GTI Owner :)

Hi all, name is David. Age: 21. Live in Scotland near Loch Lomond. Purchased my Mk1 Golf GTI about a month ago and love it. It is 1982 1.6 Injection Model. Had bodywork and paint done in 1995. Just lots of little touches needed doing to it. Some pics of the girl :)

Hi and welcome, nice mk1, i noticed you said that you are only 21, what is the insurance like for the you on it? I only ask as i have a friend who is 21 and looking for a mk1 but is really struggling to get insured on one.

Hi there, i was with Direct Line but they wouldn't insure me due to its age. They only insure full cover in the car is 25 years old. I really struggled and i can't seem to get a classic insurance till i am 25. I pay £600 fire and theft. Car is garaged. Just need to tell your mate to shop around. :(
