Title: Question-MK3 VR6 master cylinder and servo fit a MK2 16v?

errr yeah like the title says....
will a mk3 vr6 master cylinder and servo fit into a mk2 1989 16v? are they the same (cos they look like it!)? or is it better just to fit a normal 9" servo and 22mm master cylinder from a late 16v???

any help greatly appreciated  :D

I've got the G60 master cylinder on my '87 8v servo and that works fine with 280mm g60 front brakes. I guess it'd be the same.
