im looking to buy a set of alloys for my gti, its 5stud and the wheels im looking at are
195/65r/15
the size carryon confuses me so i thought id ask lol any help would be great.
I just bought a set of audi alloys n they dont fookin fit lol
-
what PCD are the wheels and offset
what youve given is tyre size, and a 65 proile tyre is crazy! even on a 15" wheel standard height that will scrub the arches
-
LOL @ 65 profile! Sounds like you have tractor tyres!
Scale them down! Although if you are not lowered then they should fit!
Mark 3's had a LOT of arch space from standard!
-
sorry but i dont know either of them lol all i know about wheels is mines are 15inch n my stud fitment is 5x100 lol
-
heres a pic if it helps?

They will prob fit....just! They'll look like balloons with those tyres tho! You'd be better off with 195/50/15
-

Well you can run 195/45/15, 195/50/15, 205/45/15 or 205/50/15 without any problems
-
You need to find out if they are 5x100 even if they are you will need to swap the tyres.
-
im running 185/50/15 :P
dont see how they dont fit if the fitment is 5x100.

Because the tyres are too big, you will thro the gearing and speedo out plus they will rub.
195/50/15's are the best choice.
