Searched through the site yesterday and came to the conclusion the coil was bust.
Had a look and it was cracked so thought it was a no brainer. A friend said dry it out then resin it to stop it happening again. I got back from work about 6:00pm, started her up and left her running. Then about 5mins later she stalled and hasn't started since.
Last night at about 11:00pm I noticed the earth lead from the coil to engine had snapped. I repaired it, checked it was good with a DMM. Still not working.
How do you test the coil to see if it's working?
I'm in the process of moving house and I've got a car audio final on Saturday to get to in Essex. Argh help

Check to see if you are getting a spark on one of the plugs, if your not then you can pretty much be sure in your case that your dodgey coil is duff.

If the old coil has cracked then it would just be easier to replace it really Mate. A new one is not that expensive and a second hand one even cheaper.
