Hi everyone, got these wheels a while back off ebay quite cheap, haven't a clue what they are or what there from, any ideas?
Had alot of mixed opinions from people about them, some people saying they dont suit ect.
What do you guys think?

I like them just need some spacers on the back to stick them out a bit
-
i like um!
-
look good
-
look a bit like enkei rims...
-
Like them need spacers on the rear
-
Look good. As said already, spacers and your there
-
Whats not to like?
A. Picked em up on the cheap ... some guys spend £1000+ on wheels which in my opinion is ridiculous, all it takes is four chavs to put your car on bricks and take those off your hands.
B. They actually do suit the car and contrast very well.
All youve got to do now, is put spacers on the rear.

With that logic whats the point in spending money and buying a nice car? All it takes is someone to come along and smash the f**k out of it.

They look ok :afro:

Think you mis understood ...
Smashing your expensive car won't make the chavs any money.
But stealing your £1500 Schmidt alloys for example, will probably make them a grand cash!

look good to me...
-
Look cool
-
Thumbs up from me, like the others said some rear spacers will finish them off nicely
-
As above, spacer out the rears.
I don't like the white mate, but maybe paint them a dark metalic gun metal and go for a stealth look.

2nd thought is, the're too small to look there best on the car. Are they 15's? 17's will always look best on a mk3.
(now will come the wheel police of this forum to tell me i've got it wrong).
-
Cheers for all the comments :)
Yea there 15's mate, abit small but ill live with them :D
And yea i agree with everyone on the spacers on the rear idea, i currently have 5mm's on the front so the tyres do not rub on the coilover. Still gotta get round to getting some for the back, i really want some nice 10/15mm hubcentrics but there so expensive :(
-
Personally I think 16's are the PERFECT size for a MK3 ... 17's are too big, 15's mmm you can get away with it, but ideally are too small.
-
Those aint enkei's they are old League wheels I think, my mate had those on his Ka back when I was 17.
-
they look a little "mercedes-ish" imo and they do really suite the car, as said some spacers on the rear weould deffo help (y) get some merc centre caps too ><
-
I actually really like them!
-
i actually am the only 1 to say nope i dont like them, lol, sorry just being honest they look far to jap style for my liking would look nice on a civic or celica, starlet etc but on a golf nope, lol, multispoke bbs all the way,ppl say there too common and every1 has got them, well i think every1 has got them for a reason,:D
-
Look good mate!!
-
They look nice bud.

I think they look ok but certaintly wouldn't be my choice as an aftermarket fitment. Apart from the already mentioned jap-styling i think they look slightly undersized for the mk3 with it's rounded body. 16's and a lower ride height would be much better aeseticically imo. BUT wheel taste will always be a personal thing anyway so what should you care what us lot think if your happy with how it appears?
