Title: NCB with company car
Post by: Z3roCool on 28 September 2010, 21:02
Hi  guys, I have had a company car for the last 4 years and wil lsoon be getting rid of it and buying my own car. I have asked my company about NCB and proving the last 4 years. They have told me that they will not count as used on a a company car. I have asked a few insurance comapnies and one said yes and another no but both did not sound ro sure...

Does anyone have any experience with this ?

I did it a long time ago and the rules may have changed but all I did was get a letter from my company saying I had no claims and that was accepted.

Some (not ALL) companies will accept a company letter confirming no claims in so many years, but they won't necessarily accept it as full NCD. So you may get a discount but not the full amount you think you may be entitled to. It depends entirely on that company's policy. Ring around and ask
