What sort of revs do you guys sit at when cruising down national limit country lanes. if im in 3rd gear which feels nice a controlled in the bends it revs up to 4000 which makes quite a racket. Should I change up to fourth and sacrifice a bit of control or is 4000 ok for a 2.0 ltr GTI. My Rover used to hate going over 3500 so maybe im stuck in that sort of mindframe

I always sit in 5th unless it's tight or I'm really givin it some
