Post by: Sugar79 on 25 January 2005, 14:10
this may be a silly question, but i have never pulled it out to look in the back, and was wondering if you can plug a amp in the back? i didnt really want to get a new stereo as i like the whole blue n red colours and wanted to keep those colours.

I don't know the answer to your question, but most stereos today light up blue and red. mine does and it's last years kenwood mask one that does mp3.

Yep you can plug an amp but they're not the usual RCA connectors. They are a Blaupunkt type multiconnector - like http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/preamp.asp . The VW stereos have a slightly different pin configuration - you could try asking the guys at bluespot (see link).

Also, if you ever thought of adding a 6 CD changer see - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5746136802&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:UK:1 - Bargain
