Title: Next Mod, this one to reduce understeer
Post by: SteveP on 23 September 2010, 21:33
Yesterday had the car pulled it bits once again, this time for some Super Pro poly bushes for the front wish bones.

Originally I was going for a white line anti lift kit but found the Mk6 wishbone mounts where different to the Mk5 so the kit doesn't fit.

So here's what I had changed: -

As normally top job done by the TT Shop in Bedford.

This combined with my other suspension mods has made a big difference to the handling and reduced understeer and improved turn in a lot more than I expected

You are selling your wheels and tyres?
Replacements?

I think you are going to install LSD i.e. if you don't have it already.

Yep the wheels are for sale, not 100% sure the replacements as yet.

No plans for a diff as I like to keep my mods to ones that are easily reversible come time to sell ten car.
