Title: egine trouble any ideas

elo all im having trouble with my mrk 2 gti ...for some reson it wont idle at the right rpm (900 is it ?) insted it revs out then almost dies on me, smoking a bit to much aswell ? any ideas ?

Elo, to you. Wont idle properly, hmm, what engine? what fuel system?. Smoking a bit to much, you or the car ;). More info needed, Steve.
