Title: Wanna spray my vr6 wheels black!!
Post by: wrobstar21 on 23 September 2010, 11:43: Hi all, i just got a full set of vr6 wheels and excellent tyres off ebay for 70 squid.

Thing is, the paint and laquer is sh!te on em. Its no probs cos i can refurb em myself but i was wondering what they would look like in black, matt or gloss. im not sure!

Can anyone point me to a picture or something??

i got a sprayers next to where i work, he reckons he can spray em for me if i do the prep work and i reckon he will have loads of black!

Plus i love the purple now!! and you can put any coloured flake in it to make it stand out even more - i have silver and blue in mine!!!

Spray them black then, but have little flakes of glitter ... that only show up when the suns out.

Secondly, use Photoshop to see what the wheels look like
before ya spray or powder coat em :laugh:

I had a Mullberry VR6 and sprayed the Highline alloys black
and they looked ace :cool:
