Title: cam postion sensor

just had a freind ring up he has his engine mangement light keep coming on it kept coming up with cam postion sensor so he replaced it with a new one yet it still keeps flashing up with it after replacing the sensor. it on a 1.4 03 plate golf if anyone has got any clue to what to do next

you need to delete the code ...mine did the same ,strange it was after having new timing belt, i thought the timing was out ...but just the sensor  :smiley:

Mine was done by Mr Clutch and they'd put it back together a tooth out. Reset the fault and see if it reappears, if it does you may need to triple check  :smiley:

mine got done b4 i bought mine mines intermitent so dont know wether it is the sensor . been like it since oct
