Title: Tinting lights??

been looking around the forums found intresting posts on tinting the fog lights, as at the moment im rather skint as of paying of the car, i have no funds to buy new headlamps, before i go and do something stupid, does anyone know if its road legal to tint headlamps in black, not the glass itself just the silver relective shell inside also mabey rear lights.

if anyone can shead some light on this it would be great help.  :rolleyes:

Don't tint the actual silver inside ... you won't be able to reflect the bulbs!! just tint the outline, that can be done easily and will pass MOT.

Im going to be tinting my foglights yellow this weekend ...

With the rear lights spray the inside of them. Mash over the areas you don't want tinted.

yh though that was bit stupid planning on doing my fog lights this weekend aswell just not to keen on the yellow, so going for a black.

lol, mine are tinted black ... got FK Smoked, but fancy somethign different. Saw yellow fogs on a red golf, looked v nice.

actually they look rather sweet, how about the lower indicators though as obviously i have orange glass over that what was the process you used to get the black tint, was it just the same as tinting the inside or something diffrent

I purchased tinted versions on ebay.
