Title: my stereo

anyone help ive got 2 amps one powers a 12 inch sub the other 4 speakers the thing is the bass doesnt seem to keep up with the rest of music it seems delayed any ideas! :undecided:

any chance of a bit more info. like what gauge cable you're running to the amps, what amps they are, etc?

1 amp is a 4 channel the other 2 but bridgeable the cable was a 1000watt package and supposed 2 be ample 4 the job the amps r both legacy 1 ia a 4/150 the other 1000 watt hope this helps :smiley:

First thing to check is that they're all working in-phase with one another - do all your rca cables go from red to red and black (or white) to black (or white)?

Do you have all the positive outputs connected to the positive speaker terminals? Any speakers running muddled connections will sound audibly different from those that are connected correctly.

Do either of the amps have a 'phase' switch? Check that - they are both using the same setting (they're normally either 0 degrees or 180 degrees, with 0 degrees being the default setting).
