Climatronic plug straight into the interior loom or do you have to nab an interior loom off a model that was fitted with it in the first place? I have a 1995 vr6. Cheers

Lots more to it than that, everything needs changing to run climate.

Mate of mine did this with a Vectra and he basically had to rewire the entire front of the car with the loom from the climatronic car. It was a lot of work and he swore never again.

Yep I fitted to my Vectra, even with a donor car packed beside it still major work

need to change the entire engine loom, plus a fair chunk of dash loom. the climatronic unit gets feeds from lots of sensors in the engine bay, wheras the std ac engine sensors are all joined together in the bay with only a couple wires inside the car to switch it on or off
