Title: mk3 gti
Post by: Ronnievdub on 23 January 2005, 18:04
hello fellow dubbers.

just started using the forum so I'm gonna start with a query.

I need help, my MK3 golf GTi is playing up. it doesn't start very well when its cold and stutters when it does fire up. When i start driving it lags when i put the foot down then lurches forward. It does this in every gear. Also when its idling it cuts out and to prevent this Ive gotta sit with my foot on accelerator to keep it running.

Its been into the garage and no one is able to tell what could be wrong with it. Ive got my suspicions it could be the throttle body but I'm not certain.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Ronnie
