Title: MK3 GTI wheel arch trim removal and re-fit
Post by: thebassman on 17 September 2010, 10:28
Hi guys

I have some dreaded rust appearing on the front drivers side. I need to remove the plastic wheel arch trim to get access. I can see a few rivets, i guess these are metal rivets so need drilling out/

Anyone know what size they are and any other trim clips etc. that i might need to buy for when i put it all together.

If anyone has an exploded diagram of a 1995 8V, that would be cool.

cheers

You have to drill out the rivets under the arch.
I would suggest self tappers to refix.
