My dear son-in-law is at it again!
Fed up with playing the family man and is ditching the Passat TDi estate.
Well he couldnt put his plate on that!

Has found a 97 P Golf VR6 FSH 120k miles. Price - ?2800.

Bargin or wot?

Cant modify so.....

Its got full leather interior. Think its a highline, but the current owner doesnt know!

Nah not viewed it yet, gotta scrape a bit more money together and my own bank is dry!
Only seen it from email photo's so far. Its in Battersea.

Thats all i know at present. Let ya know more when he asks me to go pick it up! as he usually does!

Hard to believe a Highline bein that price. Seems a bit too cheap. Ive known Highlines to sell for 2 or 3 times that. If it is though and its in good nick snap it up. (but for a laff i'd try and haggle) :smiley:

I have seen a black M reg Vr6 Highline 109k FSH in local garage and they wanted ?4,500 for it.. :undecided: :undecided:

Well he went and viewed it - apparently it was sh!te!

So instead he found something a bit different.......

1996 VR6 Passat Estate! Dark Red beige leather interior, good ICE system, Kenwood mask MP3 Infinity speakers in the doors and a 10" sub.

Had to go to Cambridge to pick it up, but a steal at ?1700.00

Well i had a drive of the VR6 Estate yesterday! WOW!!!

As mr6 put it - a real Q car! Handles and goes like beast! For a big estate its very nimble. And the torgue!

Well i told him not to sell it unless i got first refusal.

Oh its only got 66,000 miles! interior is immaculate - Climatronic Air-Con and the sound from the ICE is really good!

And all for ?1,700 quid!!!!
