Title: xenon bulbs?

hi all
i went out last night and found the headlights were not very bright on my mk4 tdi130,
the question is could i make them better by just fitting some xenon bulbs of flebay or am i wasteing my time and money?
your help in this matter would be great as im new to the golf world so sorry about the silly questions

if i get hid;s dont i need to have headlight washers?
are they a straight swop or do i need to change anything as i dont wont to over do it on the electrics or melt the lens

Straight swap, strictly you should have projector headlights with auto dimming but ive had hid's fitted to stock lights for over 2 years now and never had any probs from mr plod.

If you want HID get OEM ones IMO.
