Post by: chrisj on 14 September 2010, 21:59
I rung vw up yesterday and they gave me a price of £82 and a surcharge of £45, which i'll have refunded when i return my old one, but my maf isn't a genuine one and its got a made in china sticker on it.lol. Do they only give the surcharge back on a genuine one?Its for a 1.8t aum.
Thanks

I would say no mate because they take them back and probably refurb them and sell them back on again.. I would give it a go if they say no they say no, no harm in trying just hope you get a numpty behind the counter..

Buy the aum maf for sale on the classifieds. £17. If it don't work you can use that to trade in, still cheaper.
