Title: rattle snorkle sound

i have an oil catch can fitted and you can hear a snorlking liquid sound coming from the engine where the pipe is connected. is it possiable to cause problem if the pipe is slightly raised up? could it cause the hot vapours to go back into the top of the engine?

also there is a rattling noise coming from the rear center on the engine below the inlet manifold. any ideas what this could be
