cheers mate, its my fitrst gti and is the opposite way to the 1.6 driver so just wanna check
-
the rotor spins the opposite way on the 1 litre and the 1.3 than the 1.6 and 1.8, but the order of leads of the same.
1-3-4-2. any other way and it pops and farts alot as I found out once
-
I think the second diagram thing is the right order
-
cheers guys sorry abt the dodgy diagram lol
-
Could have been that someone has fitted the Dizzy 180 degrees out, which isn't a problem as long as the dizzy timing is also 180 degrees out
On my driver at cylinder #1 TDC the rotor arm points towards the head, and lines up with the notch in the dizzy housing. Which I think means it is the same as the first diagram, but I'll check at lunch time

my driver was like diagram one but the gti is like diagarm 2
thats y i asked lol
-
Yup my driver is also like the 1st diagram!
