Title: been lowered now randomly beeping noise comes on when turned over?
Post by: vw-8v on 12 September 2010, 21:03
had car lowered the guy did top job i just handed over the keys and said must b able to take folk in the bk seats (giving a lift lol not layby loving) it looking sweet now only thing is last couple days when i start the car and this doesnt always happen, a beeping noise comes on and think i get a really quick flash of a red light on dash when i pull forward or reverse plus the brake pedal sinks alot further before the brakes bite, a wee bit worrying but after i pump brake only couple times all is good for duration of the journey.

ideas?

will need to get pics up as the lowering has made all th difference with the white 18's

Air in the brake system, master cylinder on its way out maybe.

cheers will hav good look tomorrow as on weekend break way up north so couldn't get to car this weekend. if pipes are stretched guessing there be leakage? and if master cylinder on way out if it like my motorbikes that mean the seals in it are gone? just after initial pulling away brakes are fine so it a bit confusing. will check and update.
