Title: Sump gasket

Hi guys i need to replace the oil pump and strainer..(sump off job) is it a gasket or instant gasket if so do i need to go to VW for it or would halfords sell it....

Theres no gasket for the sump its sealed with sealant you could use halfords or a motor factors or get the oem stuff from vw part number b D 176 404 A2 its over £10 for it tho at vw

just orderd one from local parts factor at £19...
Bet they will order one for wrong engine code :grin: :grin:

I would not use sealant to be honest.

ECP list the gaskets but not for a AUM.. :wink: :wink:
