I get upto about 60 MPH and the front end starts to wobble, as if driving over uneven road, get upto about 70 MPH, and it stops. I've had the wheels re-balanced, but it still occurs, not noisy.

What car?
Could be front suspension bushes.
-
It's a 1997 2.0 Mk3 Gti, P plate.
-
balancing on front wheels needs doing mate about £10 a side tops
-
Already had that done mate, it's still doing it though.
-
bent wheel maybe or a wishbone
-
Get the alignment checked at a branch of Protyre or similar.
-
bent wheel or dodgey tyre! or what polo6n222 said. make sure the balancing is bang on take it to another place and get them to check it, if not then get you brake disks checked a warped disk can cause that aswel (well depends on how bad obviously)
