Im looking for a Mk4 GT TDi, will have the cash at the end of the month but christ, there are some expensive ones around. Considering the Mk6 is out now, some 03 plated cars are up at £5995. Am I being a bit soft, or is that about right for a GT TDi with 70k on the clock?

Oops didn't see the TDI section, feel free to move mods.

They do hold their money extremly well, which is annoying when your buying one but is good when you sell it on in a few years time, recently got offered a 55 plate vectra 1.9cdti sri for my y reg gt tdi and have discovered that my y reg is worth more than the 55 plate vectra

Just bought my gt tdi 130 on 46k for £5740 with 6 months warrenty, 7 months tax and 11 months mot.
Black magic in great condition :)

Indeed they do hold their price better than a lot of other cars i am glad mine is still worth about 5k as i paid over double for that when i originally bought it !

Thats is low mileage i bought mine with 46k on it 4 years ago  (pd 150)

Cool so my 02 with extras in with 79k on the clock should fetch around 5k you reckon?

Depends on where you live aswell, deisels down on the south coast are fetching more than say midlands.
But yeah id say £4.5k to £5k would be fair dependent on how clean it is.
