Title: Headlight Protectors
Post by: am1w on 05 September 2010, 17:00
The VW Accessories Brochure now has Headlight Protectors available for £41, fitted.
I have already collected 2 stone chips on my headlights and wish to avoid anymore.
I think I might buy a pair.
What do you think of these?

I bought them for my car, primarly to fit the continental converters, did not want to keep fittiing and removing them.

If you do buy thm, they come with the stick on converters, so no need to buy them seperately

Easy to fit and remove

Seen those and they're OK and no doubt will stop the chips [I've got a couple of very small chips myself], but what about the detrimental effect on the looks of your car? I'm not sure I could drive about with those on all day.

Lamin-x do ready cut mk6 Golf light covers in various colours if you want a permanent and more or less invisible covering.
Only issue is if you want the pre cut ones you have to get them from the USofA. The co.uk site only sells the rolls of the stuff that you have to cut yourself (last time I checked anyway).
