Title: Check Coolant Level-STOP warning after hit up the arse....
Post by: Tomonator1985 on 04 September 2010, 14:29
Got hit up the arse by an iceland lorry, low speed, craked bumper and such, but the "STOP-check coolant level" warning is showing, coolant level is fine, not sure why this would happen from a rear bump, any ideas?

thanks.

[/ may have nothing to do with bump from rear. expansion bottle sensor inside bottles are bad for putting warning lights on when coolant level is ok.more noticeable first thing in the morning.worth replacing bottle as its a cheap part and easy to replace.sensor that goes into the water not sensing water in the bottle]

bridge the pins on the level sensor plug on tank. if that solves it, you need a new tank
