I guess that would sound like my old set up,3 inch downpipe into std section(no middle silencer) and into std rear box.

surely its just the same as fitting a centre pipe from a derv for half the price?.

dunno tbh, i was just thinking of having the oem centre box cut out, and this just seemed like a neater way of doing it really

dunno how it'll sound i've got a ebay cai, and tip as well though

doesn't mention the 15bhp increase all the other ebay products do though - does that mean its no good

i have just fitted one of these to my car! and it sounds.......................exactly the same.

if i were you get yourself to vw and order a new exhaust sleeve that goes between the middle pipe and back box, i need to on mine as its not clamping down hard enough on the new pipe and working its way back out, and you'll need a u clamp to mate the front of the pipe to the cat as it does away with the sleeve and becomes a push fit. dont forget the coach bolts too, there only m10 fitment, get them anywhere.

i replaced mine cos the centre bracket had snapped and i just wanted a clean fix, its not gonna make any real difference to the cars power tbh

well my exhaust sounds like it has a slight blow on it, and that section looks like it could do with replacing. I'm not expecting miracles out of it, but it'll be neater than bodging it back together.

if i do (which i'm not expecting) get any noise/power. bargain.

besides if the blowing isn't coming from there i'll tell her indoors its the downpipe
