been offered some alloys
not to sure on anything when it comes to wheels but would 205 50 16 fit a mk2? or should i give em a miss
-
16" wheels will fit, but the tyres may not, I'm not sure.
What you need to know is the bolt pattern, PCD and the offset!
-
16's yes mate has a set on his whats droped 90mm!! with g60 archs, but them tyers seem a bit big a profile 4 me :undecided:
only 1 way 2 find out
-
What car are they from
-
to give you some idea
185/60/14s come in at around 22.5inches diameter
205/50/15s come in at around 23.2inches diameter
the www.bfgoodrichtires.com website give pdf of the specs of each of their tyres so you can get the measurements there. someone else posted a natty little javascript site that did the measurement for you as well in a recent thread about tyres.
-
well there off a granada scorpio there oz's i think they look like superturismo's but i cant be sure the tires can be changed if thats the only problem seeing as there like 110 a tyre to replace :S
-
Unfortunately the fitment will be wrong unless the alloys have multiple PCD bolts drilled into them, ford granada PCD is 4 x 108 unless I'm mistaken and VW is 4x100.
-
ill check it out and thanks :D
-
i thought granada's had 5 stud wheels, especially the scorpio

i've seen 4x100 somewhere else so i think you are correct.
-
golf is 100 pcd but again i think granada are 5 stud wheels.
the other consideration is the offset its no god having wheels on a car if you cant turn the steering
-
this is a 4 stud one for sure i looked at that first :D
-
yer its 4x108 anyone explain to me what this means as i never really see it as i normally buy the rubber :S
ie whats the does 4x108 and 4x100 mean in in simple terms i can understand please :D
-
basicly if you have a four stud wheel the centres of these studs/holes, will all be on a circle with a diameter of 100mm or 108 mm in these two cases, so the ford ones are 8mm out.

cheers oh well on ebay they go :(
