Hi guys,
I washed the car yesterday - the first time since buying it a couple of weeks ago. After paying particular attention to the "Edition 30" badge at the rear, i noticed the red colouring starting to bubble and come away:

Firstly, anybody else got the same problem? secondly, anyone knows if i stand a chance with a warranty claim? I went to the stealers today but the service department was shut.
Thanks
Rich

You can try. I doubt that VW warranty will cough for a new badge though...

They'll probably just put it down to abrasives and polish, which probably caused it. Buy a new one.

As above or repaint with red enamel paint.

I thought that the red coming off the badges meant your ED30 wasn't a genuine one.....
Only joking.
It amazes me how fussy some of you guys are! I bet you can't even see it unless stood next to the car - I gave up worrying about every little scratch and mark years ago as it's a never ending battle unless you hide your car in the garage and never use it. All it takes is a kicked up stone or a scrote with a key or some huge sheets of polystyrene flying off the back of a truck on the motorway onto your side of the road at 80mph (I kid you not!) and all your hard work is FUBAR.
