Title: How to retrofit VW 6CD Changer?

My pal is selling his car and is giving me his VW 6 CD changer, is this an easy fit into a 2006 GTI? I already have an I-Pod connection in my glove box but have seen many CD changers under the armrest?  Anyone help?

It's one or the other I'm afraid. You can fit it the armrest, many kits available.
