Lads and Lassies!!
Hi I'm Nick and i'll be honest, I stumbled across this site some 9 months ago but was pretty much too embarrased/shy (call it what you want) to post as I am pretty clueless when it comes to cars,....... but am learning fast.
I'm 36, living out here in the SE of the Netherlands so hope you don't mind the invasion. Ex military, wife is dutch you get the picture. :)
I love my car, have had it a year and through reading this fantastic site have managed to grasp some of the initial issues I've had with it and sort them out. You all come across as very helpful indeed. :grin:
No doubt you'll see me about every now and then wanting to know the most simple of things but I'll make sure I read through other posts first,..promise :smug:
Anyway, will try to get a couple of pics up, the cars not too flashy but it looks nice.....thanks for having me!! :smiley:

Welcome along Buddy. Never be ashamed/embarrassed of your Golf Buddy as we are all here for the same reason....we all love our Golfs. Looks nice and clean as well. Is that another one I see in the background of your picture ??

@Deano2711 ....Yes m8, well no, it is/was the wife's diesel, got rid not too long ago and she has a 1.6 petrol mk3 from 95 now...gets her from A to B but she doesn't like it when I 'tease' boy racers in their more modern cars when she's a passenger in mine, so I have to be sensible.......:P

My brother lives there......pop down to the Docklands bike shop,....Bikeforce....... :grin:
Me & the wife would love to move to Perth but can't see a way around it without the quals y'know? I'm classed as semi skilled......

It was my son, he broke the widow, its all his fault lol the glass just slid down n now wont stay up!! ive also just developed a misfire, aghhhh i had less hassle with my tigra

I was half joking mate but it may be possible.
I don't really know how the visa process works tbh as we had my other halfs company solicitor doing ours and that was stressful enough as our appointed government agent was useless and fcuked up at least twice that we know of.

Well, we're looking into it,...no doubt i'll be over there for the 6th time soon so we'll head over to Melbourne (rest of family in Perth see...) and say hi :P
But yeah, can imagine extremely stressful process,...anyway, back to cars,...I'll try enjoy my GTI while you enjoy ur Holden ute ;)
