Title: 2003 1.8T AUM RE-MAP??

I have the above car and engine code with 56000 miles,forge splitter valve,r32 dsg intake with piper x pannel filter and cat back exhaust.The car is serviced regular and i use magnitec slx oil just wondering what kind of power i could gain from a new map?Thanks in advance. :smiley:

Your looking at around the 210bhp mark depending on the condition of the engine, ie boost or breather problems.

That sounds good,just took my engine covers off and noticed a bit of a leak arround one of the injectors what should i do???

Get rid of the splitter before having a map. Get a 007p.

Yes bud sort out new o ring seal on injector.Also make sure the bloody pcv system is not leakin!!under inlet manifold!!suggest new pcv valve,even new ones leak abit :sad:.I added another right before pcv so have two.Do a search m8.You need gud fuel aswel massive difference!!!!shell v power :wink:.My aum made 187bhp :sad: with rubbish happy shopper fuel and vaccum leaks everywhere.Still had 212 torques though!!!Now all sorted shes very nippy.all the best james.

you could be looking around the 220bhp mark depending on numerous things. You would benefit from fitting a larger downpipe and sports cat to compliment the cat back system you have, will help the turbo spool quicker and give better torque gains.

As said above, get a 007p re-circ valve with red spring if your going to map it. Also ditch the magnetec oil and go for OEM recommended oil to prolong the life of your engine. Before remap ensure plugs are in good condition.

As for the leaking injector seal, get a set of new injector seals and replace all off them.

Hulmie its castrol long life i use i get it from my main dealers free of charge!! i used magnetec in my m3 my mistake.Would you say a 3" down pipe?also what spring will the 007p valve come with?im on the seals at the weekend hopfully :smiley:
