Title: Mk3 Headliner Recover
Post by: N900 MJT on 27 August 2010, 14:24
Hi Guys

Have had a quick search for a guide to recover the headliner in a Mk3 but nothing came back.

Does anybody know how to do it or a guide please!

Cheers, Mitch

remove stuff

drop the lining

Apply TOP GRADE HEAT RESISTANT AUTO MOTIVE GLUE

apply new fabric.

curse - a lot - you will have wrinkles

unstick yourself from headlining

replace headlining

replace trims you ripped out 5 hours ago and have now forgotten how it goes an with what screws

Good Luck

Did this the other day... barrel of laughs. Especially as the missus stood on it and broke it.

Cheers Chuff - will have a go at this soon!

I was thinking of using some 3m Super Adhesive Glue or can you recomend something else?
