While the car looks great and boy would I like one, I have to ask the question....... why?  :undecided:

I can understand the 1.8T conversions and all of the other VW engine swaps but why a Ford engine? Folks can get the same BHP from a VW can't they?

The 1.8T wasn't out when this was built   At the time, the cossie engine was the most tuneable in a "bang per buck" sense, even when the 1.8T arrived it wasn't until the last 2 years or so that it's full potential has been realised.

It's not recommended but you get more bangs per buck on Forest Road, Radford

Suppose if you've got money to burn then it'd be great fun but for that sort of money can't you buy a 1.8t conversion? :undecided:

considering all the 'tuning' thats been done there was a distinct lack of vernier cam pulleys.

saything that im sure u get get 500+ BHP out of the 1.8 turbo lump the cossie still 2day remains the most easy tuneable lump around

Has to be the Cossie IMO. Superb engine that will go to 600bhp with a LOT of money thrown at it!!!!!!!!. Would love a Golf cossie as I love both my Golfs and my RS Fords. (See Sig) Diferrent note, Radford eh???????? Piggy, sh!te-hole but true what you say......

grrrrrrrrrrr ford kak in a dub. never would i have thought of seeing the words 'Golf' and 'Cosworth' together. 'Golf Cosworth' doesnt exactly roll off the tongue, its about as subtle as being kicked square in the goolies.

Im sure that used to be a show car , the bloke built a cossie 4x4 m3 bimmer , then went onto build a mk2 . Why? coz he could
