Hi,my car has been stored for a few months and the person who kept the keys has lost them  the car is a 1994 mk3 2.0l GL estate.the key only had a light in it.Does it also have an engine management chip in it as well,I have been told that I would have to get the key programed to the car to be able to start it.The key seemed fairly basic with no remote central locking buttons,as I said just a single button for the key fob torch. Any help would be a great help. Many Thanks Paul.

1994 will not have a chip built in.
